Disc-Tube membrane technology, abbreviated as DT, is commonly seen as Disc-Tube Reverse Osmosis (DTRO) and Disc-Tube Nanofiltration (DTNF). Its membrane module construction is fundamentally different from traditional spiral-wound membranes. DT employs an open flow channel: the feed liquid enters the pressure vessel through the inlet, the treated liquid flows into the guide disc over the shortest distance, reverses 180 degrees from one side of the membrane to the other, then enters the next guide disc, and finally exits through the outlet. This unique design creates turbulence as the liquid flows across the membrane surface and collides with protrusions on the plate surface, increasing the permeation rate and self-cleaning function, and extending the membrane's service life. Unique characteristics: high strength, high-pressure resistant design, capable of withstanding pressures up to 160 bar.
